SHSU vs SFA in Reliant Stadium!

Last weekend I shot Sam Houston State University vs Stephen F Austin in Reliant Stadium in Houston. It was as you would expect, loud and crazy. Spirits were high on both sides and the game was on the line right up until the end where SFA clinched it 27-24. It was a very overcast day……

Autism Walks

I don’t get the chance to do a lot of charity work, and I should. This was a great event for a great cause and I was more than happy to donate my time and equipment. Great fun was had by kids and adults alike!

Lots of people showed up to walk for Autism:

SHSU vs SELA

It has been a crazy couple of months, so crazy in fact I completely forgot to keep updating my blog. Shame on me. Since football season is well under way it only seems right that the next post is about that so here it is!

This game was last weekend and was the first time I……

Professional Interior Photography…

For some reason I keep getting asked why someone would ever want a professional to photograph the interior of something mundane, such as a home for sale, standard office, etc. Fancy offices? Sure. Stadiums? Sure. Bars? Sure. Homes? Why? These people take perfectly good shots with their point and shoot cameras so why waste the……

Waxahachie Balloon Festival

Back on the 12th of this month I had the opportunity to shoot a couple of balloons that were being used in a advertising shoot for Neiman Marcus’ anniversary Christmas catalog due out in a couple of months. Now for obvious reasons I did not shoot the model but here are the balloons as they……

Tomball Peppers Softball Tournament

Last weekend I had the chance to work the Tomball Tournament which I expected to be rather boring. After all, how hard do little girls play softball? Surely they don’t take it very seriously. Not being sexist or anything, I just never really though most girls would take this kind of thing very seriously. Boy……

Houston Grand Crit, Bike Racing!

This morning I had the opportunity to photograph a nice little bike race running into downtown Houston. Since I had another session scheduled for this afternoon I only had the time to shoot the first couple of crits and then leave, but it was a lot of fun anyway. Bike races are great to watch……

More SHSU Baseball!

The baseball season continues to wind down, four more games shot, four left in the season. With football season many months away this is the last chance I will get for a while to shoot some college sports so I am making an effort to hit every last game. Here are a few from the……

Baseball-SHSU vs Nichols

It has been over twenty years since I shot sports, yet here we go again. I got the opportunity to do some shooting for SHSU’s SID and I have to say it went pretty well. I am scheduled to do four games, all in Huntsville, the next two at night, we will see how that……

Union Pacific 844

While I admit I am an old koot, I am not old enough to remember these beautiful things running the rails. It isn’t often we get to see something this old, this well preserved, still doing it’s intended job so I had to make time to get a few shots. Unfortunately there were a few……
